I started to read the Bible every day. It helped me grow and develop an inner peace and balance in my life. God's Word began to give me new insights into my life. So, how did I accomplish this? I created Daily Readings: Read the Bible in a Year! as a compilation of all the daily readings required for someone to actually go through the Bible on a day-to-day basis and read the entire Bible in one year.
So how could the rest of the world benefit from my
quick and easy way to read the Bible?
Well, if you are as busy as I am everyday, you might find it difficult to accomplish finding the time to read the Bible daily -- let alone keeping track of what you read yesterday. Hence, the reason why I created Daily Readings. I saw a need in busy people who hung around computers every day. They surf the web, check out the news, etc. So why not make it convenient to read the Bible on-line and have it easy to remember exactly where you left off?!

I have been looking for some time now, for an online Bible Reading Program that would be easy to use, and would fit into my hectic schedule. That's when I ran across Christopher Johnson's "Daily Readings". He's made studying the Bible so easy, even I can do it!
The ease with which you can switch from one chapter to another, or look up and print out a passage is amazing. The thing I like best about it though, since I was a good one for losing my notes and forgetting where I left off, is the program keeps track of where you left off for you. I Love It!

To tell you the truth, I actually created this e-Book initially to solve just these problems for myself. It was cool having God's Daily Word at my finger tips! While I was at my computer I could just click on the day and bring up the readings. What a huge time saver! Before I never found the time, nor found it convenient to read the Bible on a daily basis.

When I saw Chris's e-book, Daily Readings - Read the Bible in a Year! in digital form I nearly flipped. The material in digital form has all sorts of benefits. The daily reading tabs even let you know where you left off last with a color change that is obvious. BUT, another great feature is in the little browse feature at the bottom of each scripture you trigger as you call up a reading for the day. You will find that the scripture is available in many translations.
